Multi-Region
Engagespot provides multi-region support, allowing users to select the physical location where their data will be stored and processed. This feature is especially important for businesses that need to comply with regional data protection regulations or optimize data access speeds based on user location.
Why Use Multi-Region?
Selecting a specific data region enables:
- Data Residency Compliance: Helps meet regulatory requirements (like GDPR) by storing data in specific regions.
- Performance Optimization: By choosing a region closer to their users, latency is reduced and API response times is improved.
Available Data Regions
Engagespot currently supports the following data regions:
- US
https://api.engagespot.co
- EU
https://api-eu.engagespot.co
By default, all new users are assigned to the US region.
Additional regions may be added based on demand and requirements.
Choosing a Data Region
When signing up, you can select the preferred data region for your account, determining where your data will be stored. Additionally, each time you create a new workspace, you can specify a data region specific to that workspace. Learn more about setting up and managing workspaces here.
Changing the Data Region
The data region is typically chosen during account registration or workspace creation and is intended to stay consistent to ensure data integrity and compliance. If you require a change in the data region after registration, please contact Engagespot support for migration assistance.
